The jam-packed nature of our social calendars over the festive season doesn’t always leave time to prioritise health and wellbeing – which is where our wellness gift edit comes in.
With the dictum to “eat, drink, and be merry”, our self-care rituals can get lost among the fast-paced nature of office parties, Friendmas, and sleepless nights. LED face masks are relegated to drawers, healthy sleep habits go out the window, and bubbles replace gut-friendly drinks. We’re not complaining, but by the time the festivities are over, we need a mind and body reset. So with this in mind, wellness gifts will be universally appreciated to kickstart those New Year’s resolutions before 2027 begins. And it’s not too late to shop.
We’re talking ritualistic and restorative presents, from luxury home exercise equipment to achieve fitness goals, to supplements to support a balanced diet, to health monitors to stay on top of your stats. These are the gifts of equilibrium. See also our selection of the best beauty gifts.

CryoGlow Clinic Face + Body
- Why it’s -approved: The Shark CryoGlow Clinic is more powerful than the original CryoGlow. The face mask alone has 510 LED bulbs (versus the previous 480), and these are tactically placed around the crow’s feet and nasolabial folds, which are common areas of concern. In the same well-fitting hardshell design, the brand has layered the LEDs so that there is seamless coverage across the face (which is not always possible with a silicone mask). The brand says there is higher radiance too, which delivers faster results. Importantly, the wavelengths remain the same, as they are clinically proven.
- Where this device stands out when compared to its predecessor is greater power and thus faster results, the addition of heat to the cooling eye pads for contrast therapy and, most excitingly of all, the brand’s first foray into a neck LED mask. But this is no ordinary LED neck mask. This is a multitasking LED mini panel that doubles up as an LED hand mask, and after over a decade of gel manicures, I am thrilled to add this to my red light therapy routine. Yes, I have a red light therapy routine.
- Shark has teamed up with an army of dermatologists and skin scientists to create a gadget that is designed to minimise visible signs of ageing, firm the skin, stimulate collagen production, boost elasticity and combat sagging. Clinical testing from the brand has reported an improvement in the appearance of fine lines on the forehead, lips, neck, chest and hands, as well as crow’s feet and frown lines – and all this through just one device.
- There are three programs: Wrinkle Repair, Balance & Clear and Skin Sustain, which are offered on both masks. Wrinkle Repair is a six-minute treatment that harnesses red and infrared light and is designed to be used daily for eight weeks. Balance & Clear is the spot-fighting option with blue light as the star and, according to the brand, can help clear blemishes in just a month of usage. Skin Sustain is to keep up the results of the previous treatments. These can be paired with either Under-Eye Revive, which, much like the original CryoGlow, uses soothing InstaChill Technology to depuff or the Dual-Temp Restore contrast technology mentioned above. You can mix and match any of the above treatments; for example, I use Balance and Clear on my face but Wrinkle Repair on the neck at the same time. Helpfully, everything is controlled via the remote, so there is no need for any storage-filling companion apps.

Why it’s -approved: For many, running is challenging enough without dealing with the aches and pains that come from wearing the wrong shoes. That’s where the Nike Pegasus 42 come into play, featuring the brand’s new and improved Air Zoom unit that propels you with every step, a ReactX foam midsole to provide cushioning and a change to the toe spring so all you have to focus on is the route, and not the gear. And let’s face it, while looking good isn’t the most important thing when you’re pounding the pavement, it certainly helps to have a striking bit of kit like these bright pink running shoes.
Why it’s -approved: For the fitness enthusiast – be it burgeoning or long-established – Samsung’s advanced wrist tracker offers the opportunity to dig deep into your stats and provides the guidance to support you on any wellness journey. The new design is thinner and lighter than previous iterations, and there is a range of bright or neutral designs.
360 Over-Ear Headphones
Why it’s -approved: I have long been a fan of the Beats over-ear headphones, from the Studio Pro to the new 360. You may have seen the campaign for the latest cans from the audio experts featuring Kendall Jenner, and the idea behind them is customisation. While the Studio Pros are fantastic for sound and comfort, the 360 allows you to switch up the cups and headband and the brand has improved the quality of the sound during calls. There is a combination of performance knit and cushioned designs, so you can switch it up after your workout or for additional style points. The headphones come in many colours, from eye-popping pink to versatile black.
Why it’s -approved: Not your average blackout eye mask, Therabody has taken its signature hi-tech approach to the design of the second iteration of its SmartGoggles. This is not the kind of mask that you would actually sleep in, but something to use ahead of slumber to put the body and mind into a state of relaxation or to ground when feeling overstimulated. There are functions like heat, vibration and compression technology that work to calm anxiety, combat eye strain and improve sleep quality.
Why it’s -approved: The latest Google Pixel phone has interesting features beyond simply the superior camera performance (although an honourable mention must go to the jaw-dropping 50MP main camera). To curb phone usage or potential anxiety surrounding the black mirror permanently attached to our hands, there are functionalities like Pause Point, where you are encouraged at certain moments in the day to take a beat of reflection, pausing all other apps. There are also classic health-tracking capabilities and the ability to limit certain apps and screen time.
Why it’s -approved: Branching out beyond its bestselling earplugs, Loop is coming to transform another aspect of sleep disturbance: light. The Eclipse Sleep Mask provides complete darkness with a specialised moulded design so that it doesn’t feel obstructive or put too much pressure on the face. What makes it stand out is the curved head strap design and anti-slip zones so that it stays very much in place no matter if you’re tossing and turning throughout the night.
Red Light Converter Screen Protector
Why it’s -approved: An ordinary screen protector will simply prevent your phone from smashing, but this screen protector from BodyGuardz turns the light on your phone into red light – and the benefits of this are threefold. Firstly, it means you are not looking at blue light, making it a more therapeutic illumination rather than potentially causing sleep disruption. It’s also easier on the eyes, helping prevent strain, and lastly, your skin gets a small dose of beauty’s favourite red light.
The Farmer’s Pantry Recipe Book
Why it’s -approved: Farmer J’s Fieldtrays have transformed the midday meal with healthy salad and protein combinations that prevent that post-lunch slump. This cookbook will help the Farmer J fiend in your life to recreate some of the signature dishes with delightful recipes like lamb meatballs, burnt aubergine or whole roasted cauliflower.
European White Goose Down Premium Collection Pillow
Why it’s -approved: The gift of a good night’s sleep is one universally appreciated – and Norvegr will do exactly that. The brand is best known for its Norwegian Eiderdown duvets that can cost upwards of £19,790 due to the rarity of the filling – the feathers can only be gathered once a year, once the eider ducks have vacated the nest – and their unparalleled warmth and durability. The pillows are filled with European White Goose Down and are the most delightful vessel to lay one’s head, springy, soft and luxe in equal measure.
Why it’s -approved: Longevity is a buzzword in the wellness industry, and its meaning is so often overcomplicated. Artah helps to tackle the basics with this set, which includes a multivitamin, omega and cell-supporting NAD+ supplement to cover the fundamentals, aka brain health, heart health, metabolism and energy.
Demi Red Light Therapy Device
- Why it’s -approved: Red light therapy devices are Bon Charge’s bread and butter. The team were already fans of the brand’s sauna blanket and red light cap for hair growth before we had the opportunity to try the panel, so expectations were high. Among the four panels in the collection is a large 91cm iteration for a full-body treatment, but the one we found the most practical for storage and space was the Demi, a tabletop 38cm device that made it easy to slot into our routine as you can multitask while maximising the benefits of the red and near-infrared illumination. It sits at half body and is professional grade – in fact, you will likely spot the brand used during red light therapy sessions at studios across London.
- Device type: Multitasking
- Best for: Recovery and energy
- Treatment time: 10-20 minutes
