Once a week, I curate Vogue Shopping’s edit of the latest fashion finds, which are all rather conveniently priced under £300. It’s an operation that involves a great deal of scrolling, a verging-on-ridiculous quantity of open tabs, and an unhealthy dose of emails to myself ( subject line) when I share links on the go. I’ve developed a knack for effective searching, which varies depending on the retailer, and always aim to narrow down based on quality – while retaining purse-friendly price points.
Shop edit of the best coats to invest in now:
Anyone living in the UK will agree that a good winter coat is imperative, and while outerwear typically falls into a higher price bracket, there are plenty of options available for under £300. In recent months, as brands fill their rails and window displays with autumn/winter stock, I’ve come across a plethora of noteworthy styles on the high street.
Cos is a popular port-of-call among team and it currently boasts a variety of hero styles online; from long wool coats rendered in hardworking neutral shades, to cropped faux-fur jackets. Speaking of faux-fur: Arket’s pile jacket is a personal favourite, and I can confirm this style doesn’t disappoint IRL. The brand’s oversized, cloud-like puffer jackets, which are replenished every year, are a seasonal winner, while Uniqlo and H&M stock several timeless bomber styles that pair well with any everyday outfit.
After many, many hours of browsing, I’ve compiled an edit of elevated outerwear options that won’t break the bank. Scroll on to see (and shop) this season’s best coats under £300.
