A Freshly Shorn Connor Storrie Returns To The Red Carpet

While most people regard 1 January as the optimum moment for a fresh start, those in the know recognise that September is the true kick-off to a new year – at least sartorially speaking. There’s no better time than the end of the summer to shake up your look and try something new. One celeb putting this into practice is Connor Storrie, who ditched his denim shorts and threadbare tees for high-waisted, high-shine tailoring at the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday night.

The previously curly-haired actor, who was nominated for his stint hosting , paired his (obviously Saint Laurent) suit and silky shirt with the buzzcut that broke the hearts of a million overly-invested fans when snaps of it emerged from the set of the second season of the smash hit show in recent weeks.

Since appearing in the show opposite Hudson Williams at the start of the year, the actor has experienced an arguably breakneck trajectory to superstardom – and heartthrob status. He’s a front-row regular and the face of Saint Laurent’s new autumn campaign, all while making time for the occasional subversive off-duty street-style moment.

With a packed diary of forthcoming projects in addition to season 2, Storrie’s star is set to rise even further (if that’s possible), so it’s fortunate that he already looks so at home on the red carpet. It may require him to ditch his favourite f***-ed up tee for something a little more full coverage, but his laid-back, skin-first spirit is still strong – at least if the number of undone buttons is anything to go by.
