Chanel and Paris Fashion Week go together like a fresh baguette and butter. Always one of the buzziest – if not buzziest – shows on the schedule, last night’s unveiling of Matthieu Blazy’s spring/summer 2027 collection was no exception. Zeroing in on Chanel’s signature tweeds and skirt suits, Blazy brought his craft-driven approach to the house’s enduring codes, beneath a flock of larger-than-life seagull sculptures – a theatrical nod to the collection’s themes of lightness and taking flight.

The front row, meanwhile, was as exciting as the catwalk, with Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, Ayo Edebiri, Dua Lipa, Marion Cotillard and Alexa Demie all in attendance – and all in their Chanel finest, naturally.
