Burberry has made a habit of giving London Fashion Week a proper send-off, and its spring/summer 2027 show was no exception. Creative director Daniel Lee took guests back to art school – Chelsea College of Arts, to be precise – with Central Cee on the runway and David Bowie on the speakers, loosening up even the most composed front-row guests. The collection had a mischievous streak, too, courtesy of British textile artist Celia Birtwell, whose work helped define the look of the ’60s and ’70s. Her newly drawn prints brought a little spontaneity to Burberry’s heritage checks. The trench-clad front row, meanwhile, doubled as a roll call of British talent. Sprint star Dina Asher-Smith and singer Jorja Smith took their seats alongside Burberry regular Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, with Jonathan Bailey, Fiona Shaw, ’s Joe Locke and Romeo Beckham completing the line-up.
