An Exclusive Look Inside Vogue World 2026: Milano
After a supermodel-filled extravaganza in New York City, a love letter to theatre in London, a lavish takeover of the Place Vendôme in Paris and a deep dive into film history in Hollywood, Vogue World touched down in its fifth destination: the Italian fashion capital of Milan. Crowning the first day of the city’s fashion week for the SS27 season, the globe-trotting celebration was a touching tribute to craftsmanship, creativity and the power of humanity in our AI-proliferated age, which played out against the grand interiors of the neo-Renaissance Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The Milanese landmark, the nation’s oldest active shopping arcade, was a fitting venue – a living testament to the beauty and endurance of Italian fashion.

Meanwhile, it’s another of the city’s historic institutions which will be benefitting: the Quarto Oggiaro public library in northwestern Milan. Funds raised by this event will go towards redeveloping this community hub and transforming it into a contemporary cultural space for creative collaboration and experimentation.
For Vogue World: Milan, Italy’s most storied fashion houses – from Prada to Gucci, Armani to Versace – got creative, too, devising one-of-a-kind pieces which were modelled by everyone from Gigi Hadid to Cardi B. Behind the scenes, the event’s team included Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Italia Francesca Ragazzi, Anna Wintour, Juan Costa Paz of the Paris-based creative studio Convoy, Lady Amanda Harlech, and Judith Clark, a professor of fashion and museology at the University of the Arts London. Marco Balich of Balich Wonder Studio served as executive producer, partnered with Marie Julie Craeymeersch of Mode and the Moon.
