It was a glittering start to New York Fashion Week, with plenty of stars stepping out for Bulgari’s Serpenti Infiniti after-party. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, of course, are as reliable for keeping the vibes high as they are for their respective pop and film superstardom.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for the couple, who married in Sicily back in June and whose feet have barely touched the ground since. There was a honeymoon across Italy; Lipa helming her Sunny Hill Festival before putting in some studio time in Stockholm – hopefully cooking up the soundtrack to summer 2027; and Turner promoting while, allegedly, testing for the small matter of becoming the next James Bond.
Then on Wednesday night at the Boom Boom Room at the start of New York Fashion Week, Lipa and Turner joined a starry crowd that also included Anne Hathaway and Hudson Williams. The pop star wore the gold Riviera mini from Clio Peppiatt’s cruise 2027 collection under tailored black trousers and black pointed Le Silla Amelia pumps, punctuated by a leopard-print Giuseppe Zanotti purse. Naturally, there was plenty of Bulgari too: a Tubogas Serpenti choker and bracelet, alongside her custom Eera engagement ring. Her brunette hair was worn glossy and straight, while bronzed makeup made the most of that seemingly endless vacation tan.
Turner, meanwhile, kept things understated in a navy shirt and matching trousers with white sneakers.
The couple made their return to the red carpet as newlyweds last month for the premiere of Turner’s latest film, . Lipa kept things classic in a plunging black Ferragamo dress, finished with another suite of Bulgari Serpenti jewelry.
For the most part, though, Lipa and Turner’s first summer as husband and wife has been spent in easy, beach-ready vacation clothes: lots of colourful bikinis, breezy separates and ruffled Chloé sets for Dua. The bikinis may finally be heading back into storage, but this party was anything to go by, Lipa’s fashion month wardrobe is more than ready to take over.
