Given my line of work, I see certain celebs so regularly they are more familiar to me than some of my friends and family. Like Sienna Miller, who, after keeping a relatively low-profile for the past few years, is now very much back at fashion week and on the red carpet – at one point joined by her teenage daughter, Marlowe (who was carrying a very her-mum-in-the-Noughties-coded Chloé Paddington bag).

After all the moody Dilara Fındıkoğlu and fresh off the runway Erdem, Miller chose something a little more relatable for her latest appearance to promote her new HBO show, : jeans and a nice top with a pair of heels. Sienna appears to have borrowed from the Charli XCX playbook, stepping out in an Original 1989 Lou Reed album vintage promo T-shirt – the same one worn by the former British cover star back in 2024 – albeit paired with a handkerchief skirt and stompy knee-high boots. Miller, by contrast, opted for a tousled bun and relaxed denim – a sparkly statement necklace and those barely-there strappy sandals her only nods to formality.

It’s proof that jeans and a tee is often the best outfit combination, even if you are about to appear in front of the cameras. To elevate your own casual combo, take a leaf out of Sienna’s book: incorporate an element of vintage, and throw in some sparkle and a stiletto for good measure.
