Hyped burger restaurant Zula is finally opening a second location in London

London burger fanatics, listen up. , the Istanbul-born ‘elevated burger’ joint, has revealed it is opening a second location in the capital.

The Big Smoke’s second Zula will open in Spitalfields this November – and it won’t just be a copy-paste of the debut outpost in Marble Arch. Instead it will be a ‘fast-service concept’ designed for local office workers and visitors to the nearby market.

The new location will have an exclusive dish, too. The Spitalfields Wagyu Burger will boast a wagyu patty with double cheddar, rich French mayo, spicy sambal, black pepper, gherkin and onion, all in an in-house-baked brioche bun. There’ll also be established Zula classics like The Basic, The B.I.G. and The Fake Mac.

Zula was founded in 2017 by Cihan Kıpçak, who was previously a chef in Michelin-starred restaurants. Named after the Turkish word for ‘hidden corner’, Zula’s first international outpost opened here in London – at Marble Arch – in October 2024. Kıpçak has kept touch with his fine-dining roots through guest burger collabs, recently working with Elliot Hashtroudi of Camille (which is currently Time Out’s favourite restaurant in London).

Zula will take over an address on Lamb Street previously home to Italian street food spot Indegno. As well as being designed with takeaways in mind, it’ll have a leaner bar for customers to eat in.

Zula Spitalfields will open on Sunday November 1 at 2e Lamb Street, E1 6EA.
