Here’s a pub quiz question for you: outside of fashion, what do Paul Smith, Louis Vuitton and Karl Lagerfeld all have in common? The answer is, of course, that they’ve all designed a Christmas tree at Claridge’s.

Each year, the Mayfair hotel asks one of its famous friends to design its tree in their own style, and for 2026, fellow fashionista Dame Anya Hindmarch is joining their ranks.

Yep, the accessories designer has been unveiled as the brains behind the posh festive fir for 2026, marking the 16th year that a famous face has been behind the yuletide pine.

Hindmarch has reimagined this year’s tree with an actual treehouse, meaning guests will be able to climb a set of stairs nestled among the branches and twinkling lights.

As for when we can feast our eyes on the winter spectacle, well, the designer herself is set to unveil the tree in the hotel’s marble lobby on .

Previously crowned London’s best Christmas tree display by yours truly, Claridge’s merry spruce is a cultural event in itself. Luckily you don’t have to splash the big bucks on a hotel room to witness the installation, which is open for members of the public to come in and admire.
