Per ’s previous conversation with, Siobhan Haug, colour specialist and founder of Haug London Haus, this warm take on blonde is one of winter’s trendiest hair colours. “Warmth without yellow is the most requested tonal direction in our Fitzrovia salon, and our colourists are finding ways to capture a golden glow and delicate coppers while keeping everything balanced and soft,” she explained. With tones ranging from glowing apricot to copper-veiled blonde, Haug said the shade’s allure lies in the “sheer, light-catching shimmer of warmth that looks healthy, expensive and entirely natural – the way hair does when it has simply been kissed by the sun”.

Haug adds that the dimensional, glossy look is easy to achieve for all kinds of blondes, and recommends asking for a warm, soft apricot at the salon. “The good news is that these tones are versatile. They can sit over any type of blonding service, whether balayage, highlights or a global blonde, so you don’t need to start again to wear them,” she says, noting that toner is the key to the style’s sparkling finish, and recommends a refresh every six to eight weeks.
