Every few months (minutes?), the internet conjures up a new set of terms to make sense of celebrity relationships. One of the more enduring among them is the “swag gap”. That is, when one half of a couple – usually the man – is a little less sartorially inclined than the other.
Is that such a bad thing? After all, if your girlfriend, wife or fiancée is expected to turn it out in custom couture night after night – such is the plight of being a woman in Hollywood – isn’t it only right to let her have the limelight? That’s presumably the conversation Sienna Miller and Oli Green had before last night’s inaugural Airbnb gala – don’t ask – where the pair took decidedly different approaches to red-carpet dressing.

To be clear, we’re not suggesting Oli is letting the side down. Quite the opposite. He took the more classic route, seemingly rewearing the same suit and pale-yellow shirt he wore to the 2025 Fashion Awards, where the couple revealed they were expecting their second child together.
Sienna Miller, meanwhile, is Sienna Miller, and I’d expect nothing less than a full fashion moment from the woman who practically wrote the rulebook on boho chic for an entire generation. For the occasion, she wore a Grecian, bridal-white gown from Alberta Ferretti’s Resort 2027 collection. Call it a swag gap or simply a difference in priorities, but given Sienna’s formidable back catalogue of looks, who could blame Oli for leaving the to her?
