London Fashion Week spring/summer 2027 was a blockbuster season for jewellery. De Beers kicked off proceedings with its Vibrations high jewellery collection, debuting a new cabochon-cut diamond, while the British Fashion Council staged its first jewellery showcase at Dover Street Market, bringing together a roster of need-to-know talent. The runways were brimming with collaborations, too. Shaun Leane returned to the McQueen catwalk with the seventh piece from his recently launched, commission-only atelier: a sterling-silver body harness worn by Karen Elson that recalled his headpieces from the autumn/winter 1998 and 2004 shows. Liberowe showcased jackets accented with hand-carved agate buttons designed by London jeweller By Pariah, while at Patrick McDowell, a Jackie O-inspired LBD was woven with glistening Pandora hardware.
Other head-turning highlights? The chunky wooden bracelets at Stefan Cooke, honed from salvaged Brio train sets; the huge hammered-gold earrings at Labrum that encased the entire ear; and the tendril-like 3D floral bracelets at Simone Rocha, layered over white shirts like armbands.
Out on the streets, meanwhile, pearls with personality and bonkers brooches were among the street-style set’s treasures of choice. Here’s how Londoners made these treasures their own.
