Euro summer wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Ibiza. The Beckhams – who were seated at a beachfront table at Casa Jondal by May this year – know it. So does Dua Lipa, who celebrated her 31st birthday on the island (and threw in Formentera for good measure). Ditto British ’s September 2026 cover star, Nicole Kidman, who, it transpires is every bit as partial to a stint on the party isle. “It’s a small dinner party or it’s a rave,” said the actor, when asked what a night in Ibiza looks like for Nicole. Regardless of whether the former or the latter resonates with your personal holiday priorities, you’ll find what you need there – and the hotels are every bit as varied. From boutique stays to slick five-star properties within easy reach of the clubs, wellness-focused resorts to tranquil fincas, discover ’s pick of Ibiza hotels.

’s guide to the best hotels in Ibiza:

While centrally positioned for Ibiza’s hotspots – 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Ibiza’s newest superclub UNVRS – Finca Legado feels a world away from the stereotypical Balearic hotel. It’s surrounded by farmland, with nature providing the soundtrack – a far cry from the pounding bass often associated with the White Isle. Whether lounging by the pool or unwinding in one of the peaceful seating areas dotted around the grounds, there is an undeniable sense of calm. I woke to the sound of roosters each morning.

This hotel feels a little like you’re staying at a friend’s bohemian bungalow. My room within the main house spanned two floors, complete with a huge king-size bed, an en suite bathroom stocked with cruelty-free beauty products, a separate sitting room and a private outdoor area. Interiors pay homage to the surrounding landscape, with a neutral colour palette, warm wood details and carefully chosen antique pieces. While there is no restaurant on the property, breakfast is included – and it’s served poolside. –

The Mondrian’s Ibiza outpost feels very much in line with the chain’s properties around the world, combining modern design, vibrant artwork and a party atmosphere. Located in Cala Llonga on the island’s east coast, the hotel sits alongside sister property Hyde, just 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Old Town and adjacent to a ferry stop for trips to Formentera.

In true Ibiza style, the rooms embrace a clean white colour palette, while communal spaces like the lobby lounge and breakfast restaurant are softened with boho-inspired rattan furniture and natural textures. What really stands out, however, are the hotel’s restaurants, with three dining options that are well worth a visit. Breakfast is an expansive affair, featuring Continental favourites such as French toast, brunch classics like avocado toast and an abundance of Spanish meats. On the sandy beachfront, lunch is served at Sonrojo Beach & Chiringuito, where Mediterranean cuisine takes centre stage, from tapas to paella. The latter was a particular highlight – especially washed down with sangria mixed tableside. It’s also home to a contemporary Japanese restaurant, Niko, where guests dine on the terrace to the sound of live music as the sun sets over the hills.

Just 20 minutes from Ibiza Town by car, the Farmhouse conceals 14 elegant bedrooms, including the “big terrace” room, which General Manager Pepe Fernández cites as their most romantic, due to “the private outdoor space that’s perfect for enjoying a slow morning or unwinding in the evening”. Inside room number seven, which has the feel of a peaceful Californian cottage, I had one of my best sleeps in months after an afternoon ensconced in the spa. (Book a 90-minute lymphatic drainage massage with Ralu and thank me later.) There are also two ultra-private two-bedroom villas on the grounds, which come with the option of a personal chef for a barbecue in the comfort of your own garden. Especially handy if you’re Margot Robbie, who threw a dinner in the Farmhouse’s idyllic restaurant gardens last summer to toast her Papa Salt gin brand – or travelling with children (the Farmhouse has a separate family pool).

Speaking of gardens: SFI occupies a picturesque setting that was formerly home to boutique rural hotel Cas Gasi. From the moment you arrive and are swiftly ferried down the driveway in a vintage stretch Fiat, the views across the working farm and valley beyond are spoiling – restorative, even.

When you’re not eating off the land (farm to fork is naturally the vibe), there’s the throbbing main pool area, pine-shaded bar, gelateria, Pilates classes, and the finca’s “Library” work zone to keep you busy. –

  • Pools (one adults-only, one for families), spa, restaurants, private dining area, bar, ice cream parlour, gym, pilates and yoga classes
  • Soho Farmhouse Ibiza is ideal if you’re travelling with a partner, a small group of friends, or need a hotel that will cater well to different generations. Dietary requirements are well catered for, and the property offers an impressive list of non-alcoholic drinks

Located on the edge of the sandy Cala Gracio Bay on the west coast of the island, the earthy and warm colour palette that dominates the space at Oku Ibiza is articulated across its 185 boho-chic accommodations, two restaurants and a spa. The minimalist interiors follow a Wabi Sabi approach, which partners especially well with the Japanese-inspired restaurant and raw bar. Larger groups can book the private villa, which accommodates up to eight guests with four bedrooms and a large private pool, while still having access to the hotel’s amenities.

The first thing to note about Hotel Petunia is The View. Situated on the southwest coast of the island, the property has a drop-dead view of Es Vedrà, the dramatic limestone rock that Ibiza regulars like to say is magnetic, magical, or some combination of the two. Tear yourself away from that, and there’s plenty to feast your eyes on inside, too. The hotel underwent a complete (and colourful) renovation in 2024 under its new management, Beaumier Hotels, and is now guaranteed to give holidaymakers with an interiors fetish a thrill – think Camaleonda sofas, undulating mid-century cabinetry and hand-blown glass lamps. While away the day at the pool area, hidden away amongst impossibly lush gardens, then head up to the hotel’s rooftop spot, La Mirada, to watch the sun slip behind Es Vedrà over plates of Wagyu tataki and margaritas. –

  • The property also features three new family suites, making it a suitable stay for guests of all ages.

In 2023, Experimental Group unveiled their complete renovation of the iconic Gran Hotel Montesol, revealing a full redesign of the original Neo-Colonial hotel, re-imagined by their long-time partner Dorothée Meilichzon. Experimental and Meilichzon’s playful approach can be felt across the 33 stylish and colourful rooms and vibrant public spaces, such as the restaurant and rooftop bar, imbuing a touch of whimsy that perfectly befits the irresistible backdrop and energy of Dalt Vila.

Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel is an OG of the island’s flourishing agroturismo scene (the rambling estate has been in the same family for generations), and was already home to a popular spa, but relaunched its offering entirely ahead of opening for the 2026 season, inspired by growing demand for longevity treatments and functional medicine. To that end, guests can now kick off a stay with a 3D body analysis to assess everything from muscle mass to flexibility to posture, before exploring hypoxia oxygen therapy (to strengthen cells and reduce inflammation), cryotherapy (to ramp up muscle recovery and lift the mood), or infrared bed therapy (to boost circulation and improve skin health). –

If chic bohemian stays that feel like private homes are what you’re after, there’s no shortage of that in Ibiza – but Can Sastre is surely one of the best options. Bohemian interiors are swathed in natural materials and wood furniture, while outside, cosy corners with shaded hammocks, thatched umbrellas and cosy reading nooks and lounge areas flank the pool. At breakfast, guests can enjoy fresh açaí bowls and avocado toast with chilli flakes and equally satiating meals are available for both lunch and dinner. When you’re ready to leave the property, bikes are provided to head into town.

Nestled in the serene countryside, Can Martí is a luxury eco-stay surrounded by lush farmland and aromatic vegetable gardens. Nowhere will you get a more restorative sleep than from one of Can Martí’s intimate farmstay rooms, each featuring either a garden terrace or a balcony with a view. Rooms are adorned in traditional Ibicencan style, with terracotta floors and wooden ceiling beams; white walls are splashed with rustic decor and natural materials. You’re woken only by the sounds of birds chirping, frogs ribbiting, and donkeys braying as they congregate around the natural pool at which you’ll spend most of your sun-soaked days. The food is sourced from the property and remains a main highlight here, so even hotel guests are encouraged to book meals ahead.

Sitting on 28 acres of lush farmland lined with vegetables, fruits, medicinal plants and fragrant flora and fauna, in the eastern part of Ibiza, Aguamadera occupies a 19th-century finca comprising seven rooms and four villas, known as , swathed in earthy tones, rustic wood accents, and terracotta floors that imbue a sense of tranquillity and warmth into the minimalist spaces. The house kitchen celebrates the island’s traditional farming lifestyle, its primal roots and the simplicity of the local produce with a wood-fired menu that verges on exceptional.

Those partial to Ibiza’s sleepier neighbouring island Formentera will be familiar with Can Domo’s sister property, Can Tres Formentera. Designed in the same spirit as Can Tres and among one of the most beautiful stays in Ibiza, rustic charms blend masterfully with nature in each of Can Domo’s eight individual rooms – some featuring private plunge pools, while still managing to maintain a modern and comfortable feel. Pebbly pathways lead to the Instagram-worthy striped sun loungers and thatched umbrellas that line the pool enveloped by the property’s fragrant olive groves.

Six Senses Ibiza became an instant hit with a fashion-y, wellness-inclined crowd when it opened on the island’s northern tip in 2021. The food is great here – the breakfast offering in particular is a few notches above the average hotel buffet, it’s simply a matter of deciding whether you’ll take the turmeric shot or the bloody Mary route. (Perhaps both?) The suites are fab, and it’s home to the Rose Bar, a dedicated (and ultra high-tech) longevity clinic. You can lounge beside the inifity pool all day, then venture down to the dramatic “rocky beach” to take in the sunset from beneath one of the boho parasols. It’s a spectacular spot for an ocean swim – assuming you can brave clambering in direct from the rocks. –

Photo: Courtesy of Los Enamorados

If any one hotel can serve as the polestar for Ibiza’s indelible bohemian spirit, it would be Los Enamorados. As the name would suggest, Los Enamorados is the brainchild of two lovers – husband and wife – who wanted to create a comfortable and romantic hideaway that would fuse the funky bohemian spirit of the island, combining their love for nature, design, and food into a hotel, restaurant, beach bar, and store situated in the northern part of the island, overlooking the romantic port of Portinatx. Each of the nine vintage-adorned rooms has a terrace with sea views – money-back guarantee, otherwise! There’s plenty to do during the day here – from yoga to paddle boarding or fishing with a local fisherman right in your front yard.

The Standard Ibiza opened in the heart of the island’s historic old town in 2022, where the brand’s playful ethos and Ibiza’s bohemian spirit came together with winning chemistry. The Standard provides Ibiza’s old town with a buzzy hangout comprising 67 rooms and a street-level all-day restaurant, as well as the rooftop pool, which has expanded its space this summer to include a larger bar and restaurant area that seats up to 100 people. One block from the hotel, The Standard’s Casa Privada forms a private residence with 14 accommodations, a private rooftop pool and bar and yoga studio, serving as an ideal option for those looking for a private home within the city but with all the perks and access to the main hotel.

Cala San Miguel, a part of the Hilton group, levelled up its offering for 2026, having teamed up with a yacht company to offer hotel guests private day charters that depart from its beachfront – a chance to explore some of the hidden beaches and coves that can only be reached by boat, or simply take in one of the White Isle’s famous sunsets from your spot on deck, cocktail in hand. This property’s draw is its position overlooking a pretty bay on the island’s low-key north coast. Cala San Miguel is adults only, but the adjacent beach is family-friendly and pleasingly retro. This isn’t the celeb spotting, oysters-and-caviar, boujis Ibiza experience, but if laid-back beach swims, snorkelling, and casual dining is the vibe you’re after, it’s a great spot for it. The hotel itself is also home to a raw bar, for sundowners and light tapas, and a new steakhouse, Paseo, with ocean views.

Jardines de Palerm

Each of the nine rooms at Jardines de Palerm, a centuries-old finca-turned boutique hotel, is designed in natural stone with pops of warm wood tones – all with its own private terrace overlooking the hills of Sa Talaia. Scattered around the property, guests are enveloped by the property’s meticulously landscaped garden terraces, from which they can take in breakfast, a light lunch or bar drinks during the day or go for a swim in one of the two infinity pools. A yoga deck that overlooks the valley and bay of San Josep is available to guests to enjoy group and private yoga classes. While the hotel feels remote, the nearby village is only a two-minute walk away.

Set in a 300-year-old farmhouse that has been carefully restored, Casa Maca is an intimate, rural hotel in the hills of Can Palau. Emblematic features of its past, like the traditional oil mill that stands like a sculpture in the lobby, have been lovingly preserved, while slashes of blue from the swimming pool nod to the property’s new life. Ceiling beams in the casa’s 10 rooms give it a rural feel, but the spaces are clean and reliable, with all of the comforts you seek in a modern hotel available and accessible year-round. The restaurant on the property is no exception, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a menu that has a little something for everyone, and uses local and organic ingredients grown from the farm on-site. When guests are ready to explore the island, Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s old town, is just a 15-minute drive down the road.

directly translates to , which judiciously represents the concept at La Pandilla, a friendly, creative stay geared towards eclectic families, groups of friends and co-workers – moreover, it’s simply “a bohemian getaway for your tribe”. The spacious casitas are scattered around the poolside garden, many with multiple beds (and bunk beds!) that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Community is the driving force here, mainly the idea that art and creativity can help foster community; therefore, guests can join various classes, lectures, and workshops offered throughout their stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at La Cantina, which also serves homemade snacks throughout the day.

Just 30 minutes from Ibiza by ferry, the White Isle’s spectacular little sister, Formentera, is increasingly a destination in its own right.

Courtesy of Teranka

The small but perfectly formed Teranka is nestled in a pine forest behind Migjorn beach. Rustic chic doesn’t quite do justice to this bohemian bolthole, which feels a little like stepping into a Balearics-inflected interiors shoot, from the natural woods in the lobby to the shady outdoor kitchen with its coconut fibre canopies, abundant greenery and jumbled bowls piled high with citrus fruit.

The boutique property is owned by Luxury Hotel Partners, the same group behind the legendary Marbella Club, and has clearly been approached with similar care and attention to detail. The products in the bathrooms are Le Labo, the breakfast buffet is to die for (they had me at “bloody Mary station”), and every time you eat you’ll find yourself flipping things over to see where each stoneware plate or glass tumbler is from – no standard issue white coffee cups here. Teranka’s secluded location and the beauty of its surroundings make it a perfect place to slow down and switch off, and there’s a natural – and welcome – emphasis on wellness. There’s an outdoor gym and a yoga deck overlooking the ocean, plus free use of kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear. –

Dunas de Formentera

Image may contain Chair Furniture Outdoors Nature Pool Water Beach Coast Sea Shoreline Architecture and Building

How best to sum up Dunas de Formentera’s appeal? Perhaps by borrowing a phrase from Britain’s property hunters in chief, Phil and Kirstie: location, location, location. The new hotel occupies a prime spot overlooking Playa de Migjorn, the longest – and arguably most beautiful – stretch of beach on Formentera. Previously hostel-style accommodation (Formentera’s strict zoning system limits the amount of land that’s available to build on), it’s easy to see why a luxury hotelier might have their head turned by this spectacular site.

Happily, owners Marugal – who are also behind the nearby Gecko Hotel & Beach Club – approached the renovation with all of the respect and care this unspoilt island demands. The “eco-luxury” Dunas has many of the things you would hope to find at a five-star property (impossibly friendly staff, generous suites, a mean margarita), plus a few welcome surprises you might not anticipate: single-use plastics are nowhere to be seen, it uses organic waste to produce compost that’s delivered to local farmers, and it relies solely on renewable energy sources. ’s favourite touch? The wooden hourglass on the wall in the shower – a clever (and tasteful) reminder that water is an especially precious commodity here. –

  • Dunas sits just behind one of Formentera’s beloved beach kiosks, KM11 (previously Piratabus), which just so happens to be one of the best places on the island to take in the sunset. After an afternoon of ocean swims, pull up a stool, order a glass of beer and a plate of Gildas, and wait for Mother Nature to do her thing.
