Offbeat trainers from Wales Bonner’s ongoing collaboration with Adidas Originals have become fashion catnip. As ubiquitous outside show venues during fashion month as they are on London’s Tube platforms, the brand’s reinventions of archive styles have captivated editors and style obsessives alike. Good news for fans: the latest autumn/winter 2026 drop brings a fresh batch of footwear to the fore.
It’ll be easy to spot these kicks in a crowd. Interesting textures have long defined Wales Bonner’s Adidas offerings – be it her molten silver or leopard-print pony-hair Sambas from past iterations – and the new collection delivers yet another medley of tactile finishes. A revival of the classic Gazelle, a football silhouette steeped in cultural history, arrives in emerald crocodile-embossed leather, while the iconic Adizero running style is rendered in suede with stitched three-stripe detailing to make them worthy of wear beyond the tracks.

Together with Grace Wales Bonner’s inspiring rich cultural references and research – which are prevalent in her mainline collections and will also ground her upcoming Hermès debut – the sports giant’s expensive archives have provided a wealth of influence since the first partnership. And after several seasons of building on existing silhouettes, Wales Bonner introduced her own shape, the Karintha (named after a character in by Jean Toomer), for spring/summer 2025, drawing details from both Adidas’s footwear range and her own. Previous instalments have seen the Karintha realised in shimmering sequins and electric-blue satin, “bringing an evening sensibility to the style”, as she previously told . It takes on a hardier profile for autumn; made from crocodile-embossed, chocolate-brown leather. There’s also the brand-new WB Karintha Pony, a Samba-Gazelle hybrid swathed in khaki and black pony hair with contrast patent lizard-look accents.

This tactility is carried over to the ready-to-wear, which features a sporty ribbed-knit football sweater with interesting collar details, another striped polo knit and vintage-look tees emblazoned with intentionally-faded WB trefoil logos. Those loyal to her elevated tracksuits will be thrilled to see a new ’80s-inspired track set in green, cut in a slouchy fit, and deep-blue track pants that match the shade of the aforementioned ribbed knit. As ever, there are plenty of wishlist-worthy pieces in the mix.
Wales Bonner X Adidas autumn/winter 2026 launches at Adidas.com, Walesbonner.com and Harrods on 29 October.
